This means that the trail is open to the public from Fowler Park (4110 Carolene Way) to the Sawnee Mountain Preserve Trailhead. Restroom facilities have also been added at the Halcyon Trailhead.
The Big Creek Greenway connects Halcyon to other destinations in the area. The trail has helped bring the community together in a unique way, and it is planned to continue to expand into the Sawnee Mountain Preserve by summer 2021.
