Registration is moving along smoothly. The third batch of lottery names are being pulled and released.
For those of you who have already logged in and provided your credit card don’t be alarmed if you don’t see the amount charged on your credit card for a few days. This is how it works…
When someone registers it only authorizes the card. Two or three times a week all the transactions are batched and captured for actual payment. Some banks or credit card companies may have dropped the authorization of their card before we capture it. From our end it makes no difference because we will capture with the approved authorization and the final charge will appear on their account. If any cards are declined during capture Creative Escape will contact that person directly. There haven’t been any declined captures so far. This is something we watch closely.
So be reassured, if your card was declined we would contact you and we’re not going to give away your registration.
A few days after that, we gather the information of the newly registered guests and provide a list of names and email addresses to the hotel. The Sheraton will contact you within 72 hours after that list is released. Creative Escape does not make any hotel accommodations, and any special requests you may have must be made through the Sheraton. Be sure to answer the hotel quickly. Rooms are first come, first served. Do not call the national reservation line, only contact the hotel in Chandler, Arizona. There are plenty but the number of double/double rooms is limited.
