Anytime I need a little ‘creative fix’ I head to the bookstore. Although I could sit on my computer and surf from one amazingly inspiring blog to another, I still LOVE magazines! The real thing. The holding it in my hands and yes, ripping out images that speak to me with color or style or unexpected combinations of BOTH! I love home decor magazines, wedding magazines, and even the teenage fresh, funky, edgy cute stuff of like ‘teen vouge’ and ‘seventeen’. And occasionally I slip and look through a ‘Shape’ magazine, which then makes me feel guilty and I have to quickly pick up something with a big cupcake on the front!

I also love looking at clothes stylings and paint combos, as well as all those amazing collages of shoes and jewelry!  Just turning the pages gets my mind swirling with ideas, project possibilities and clever color combos! But best of all, it’s Eric and my favorite date night – a trip to the Barnes & Noble magazine rack after great Thai food!
