A lesson in tools – for girls! (quick review)

Post was created on July 27th, 2010

Margie Romney Aslett wasn’t able to join us for Preview Day this year, so she flew to Arizona to teach her class last week. Oh, what fun! She calls this project her “inspiration piece.” We loved it. The funniest part of Margie’s visit revealed itself when she asked all of her students to bring (shown top to bottom): wire cutters, flat nose pliers, and round nose pliers. These are all MUST-HAVES in order to complete the project. You should have seen what the girls were digging out of their tote bags! We saw a pair of garden shears and a wrench… and that was only the beginning. We all agreed, we need to share photos of the tools in the Creative Escape blog in order to help our guests! Please look at these tools carefully. If you don’t have your own tools, these three pieces are from Scarlet Lime and will be available for purchase from the Creative Escape on-site store the middle of this month. You can order and pay in advance and we will have them ready for you to pick up anytime after 9 a.m. on Thursday, the first day of Creative Escape. Wire CuttersFlat Nose PliersRound Nose Pliers
